Apart from this checklist, however, it is still your responsibility to make a mental or literal check list of your own.  Following are some of the moving tips that might aid you in doing so: 1) Arrange for your moving services to be done ahead of time. 2) Make sure all your cartons, boxes, containers and storage bins are properly labeled in an organized manner, using bold letters and numbering when needed. 3) Get rid of unwanted items by having a garage sale, should this meet your fancy. 4) If you have any pets, make sure to leave them with a trusted friend during the move, so as not to risk losing it in the distracting process of moving. 5) Disconnect all appliances from power sources and pack them away with cables, chargers, and anything that may come with them. 6) Hand-carry any jewelry, money, or personal items that you would not want to be misplaced. 7) Empty furniture, dressers and shelves of any liquids, breakables, or small, loose items during the move. 8) Settle your billing with BC Movers as early as possible, to ensure a clear and mutual understanding even before the move has been completed successfully. 9) If all of the above pointers have been attended to properly, you can be sure your move will be stress-free and not subject to being cause for any worry. vancouver movers
